In late-90s Los Angeles, skater and wannabe artist Lucky’s drifting through warehouse parties and half-pipe nights with his crew. Paul’s looking at serious time, so he offers Lucky the keys to the risky cash flow he’s been sitting on. Lucky hears the warnings from Kim, Robby, Lilly and Vanna, but the money talks louder than good advice. Then he bumps into old high-school flame Morgan. One look and the spark is back, giving him a taste of a straight-up future he never figured was on the menu. At home the tension with his dad Tommy boils over, while Vicki watches from the couch, stuck in the crossfire. Turns out Tommy’s got his own foot in the game Lucky’s about to step into.
